dr. Lien Deschuytere

Dr. Lien Deschuytere (MD, FEBEORL-HNS) is currently working part-time as a consultant in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Ghent University Hospital and part-time at AZ Jan Palfijn Ghent. She obtained her medical degree from Ghent University in 2018 and subsequently specialized in otorhinolaryngology at the same university, completing her training in 2023.

After her specialisation, she further expanded her expertise in sinus, skull base, and transorbital surgery through a fellowship at the University of Cape Town (South Africa) under the supervision of Professor Darlene Lubbe.

At present, she focuses on general rhinology with a particular interest in transorbital surgery.
